Zagreb
Zagreb is the capital of Croatia. The architecture is 18th-19th century Astro-Hungarian. The Upper Town is the site of 13th-century St. Mark’s Church, with a blue, white and red tiled roof. It is joined by the Lower Town where the main square, shops, pubs, cafes, parks, restaurants and museums.

Croatia is bordered by Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia to the east and Slovenia to the west, Hungary to the north and Montenegro to the south and the Adriatic Sea to the west. ​Zagreb can be found closer more to Slovenia and Hungary. In the history books, Zagreb was once ruled by the Austro-Hungarian empire. A lot of its dishes are influenced at this time with its strudels and stews. #Zagreb

The weather in Zagreb is continental European. It gets cold in the winter and hot in the summer with plenty of rain in the autumn and spring seasons. The surroundings are very hilly and picturesque. It is very green with a vast number of forests. The River Sava runs on the south side of the city. The conditions are very nice for growing food.
